Taranaki New Plymouth electoral boundaries are unfair, especially for Inglewood and places north or Wiatara. Who are in the Taranaki King Country electorate, yet pay their rates to New Plymouth. So if something is desided on in New Plymouth on political grounds they have know say. Yet are expected to pay rates on changes either way. Either it be for New Plymouth's roading infrastructure or port expansion they are expected to pay be way of rates. I believe if you pay rates to an area such as New Plymouth you should also be represented and have a say politically. What does Inglewood have in common with Te Awamutu for instance. It is New Plymouth they pay their rates to and it is New Plymouth th whom they should belong to electorally, not Taranaki King Country. An electorate that is becoming less Taranaki and more Wanganui King Country each boundary change. Soon the only thing left named Taranaki in Taranaki King Country electorate will be the mountain.
